Hi, I’m Kim Bellavance and my husband is Joe Bellavance. We live in Southern Kentucky. We want to thank you for visiting our site and giving us the chance to tell you a bit about ourselves, these wonderful products, and this terrific company.
I have always had a passion for candles. And truth-be-told, a passion for anything scented, that would give my home a pleasant scent. I would venture to say that I have tried many of the products on the market in my search for a premium product that would scent my home. When a co-worker and friend gave me a votive from this company to try, I knew that I was hooked. And then the first time I tried a jar candle… I was in scented-candle bliss (more about that later).
When my co-worker and friend told me about the home business opportunity available through this company I kept the information in the back of my mind but didn’t immediately act on it. Then this last spring it seems that everything started coming together. Both my husband and I were working in the corporate world and our company was in the process of downsizing… and we knew that our jobs would be coming to an end very soon. My co-worker and friend (and soon to be sponsor), Rochelle (whose job was also affected) attended the company’s Spring Fling in March and when she returned she proceeded to excitedly tell me about all of the wonderful people that she had met there and about all of the things that she had learned. I was so inspired and excited about everything that she was telling me and about the terrific support she had found at Spring Fling that as soon as she left my office, I got on the phone to Joe and made the decision to sign up right then and there. So before I even left my office at work I was signing up as a distributor. That was April 19th. Practically as soon as I signed up, my company website, complete with my contact information, was up and running and ready for me to use. Boy was I surprised to come home from work the next day, April 20th to find a box in front of my door that said on the side of it in big letters “Mia Bella’s Gourmet Products”. I had signed up online after 4 pm the day before and my candles and bath bar were there on my door step already! I could not believe it. I was amazed, to say the least. So that’s just the beginning… The Scent… well let me just tell you that I could smell the delicious scent before I even picked the box up. (I’m thinking that the delivery service is going to love me, because these wonderful candles are going to come every month, and they get to sniff them.) So I hurried inside, cut open the box and unwrapped my jar candle. Aaaahhhh, Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper, what a delightful aroma. I took out my bath bar, and then opened the box of 12 votives. I lit the jar candle right away and was blown away by the wonderful way that it scented my home. I knew from using the votive that Rochelle had given me that I would love these candles… but until I burned a jar candle I just didn’t realize how truly brilliant the double wick, even-burning, and the triple scenting was.
To say the least, we are having a lot of fun with our new business and enjoying meeting new people in the process. I had the opportunity to attend Summer Blast in Pennsylvania in August and meet some of the wonderful people making this business opportunity work for themselves too. After coming back home and talking for days to Joe about everything that he missed out on by not going along (and it was only a one day meeting), he decided that he better go to as many of the events as possible as well. We were so grateful to be able to go to Las Vegas in September for the Western Regional Conference. It was our first ever trip to Las Vegas and we absolutely loved it. The conference was inspiring, motivating, and empowering. In November we attended our first Fling, Fall Fling 2006. After the amazing stories that I had heard from Rochelle about Spring Fling, that had ultimately inspired me to sign up as a distributor, I had high expectations of what Fall Fling would be. Let me tell you, FALL FLING DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! It’s so hard to put into words until you’ve experienced it yourself. The training, personal development, testimonials, and motivational segments were all top notch. But more than that… we made lasting friendships that we will cherish always. It felt more like a family gathering than a business event, and we felt like we were part of that family, even though we are “newbie’s” in the business. This is truly a company unlike any other that I’ve ever been a part of. One where the partners care for and support each other. We are looking forward to attending more of the company’s gatherings and training meetings. In fact, we will be attending the New Hampshire event on December 1st and 2nd and the 2nd Annual Western Regional Conference in Las Vegas on January 26th & 27th.
